I have had my mbt boots for two weeks now and i was warned to go steady at first as they work the muscles in the legs so well. I did go steady and have built up to wearing them for most of the day, everyday (i wear them to work). I have felt NO muscle tiredness at all, I thought I would as I am very unfit. Also my left knee has developed a real aching pain in it. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG??????????

I've heard some positive stuff about the shoes. My mum has some serious problems with her hip joint (actually she will have to have and artificial joint operation this year). Would you recommend MBT shoes? Her walk is quite painful if she walks for too long.

I now have a pair of the MBT Kisumu Black sandals which I find more comfortable than the MBT trainers that I originally bought. The rolling motion works brilliantly with helping to compensate for my fused ankle.

The best thing about the MBTs is that I have been taught to walk properly. I went to a class after I purchased a pair of shoes. Very valuable. The good thing about the MBT's is that to maximise comfort in them, you have to walk correctly. In contrast to wearing conventional shoes were I become lazy during my walk.
